Fast Food Nation -the movie-
"Prepare to never eat fast food again. Variety says Richard Linklater ("Before Sunset," "Dazed and Confused") will direct "Fast Food Nation."
The film will be based on Eric Schlosser's non-fiction book, which examines the fast food industry from a variety of angles: business, cultural, even global. The book doesn't really have a narrative, so Linklater faces a challenge in turning this broad-based expose into a cohesive film.

Oscar-nominated actress Catalina Sandino Moreno ("Maria Full of Grace") will star. Filming is scheduled to begin this fall.
