As in recent years, First Night activities will fill indoor and outdoor spaces from the Gallivan Center to the Gateway. Depending on the weather, as many as 60,000 partygoers are expected. Some schedule highlights:

* For Latin flavor with a twist, head to the Gallivan Center at 10:30 p.m. to check out headliners Nortec Collective, a Tijuana band that updates traditional Norte a music with electronic grooves and cool visuals.
